  A great place to eat and take your loved ones. The people are friendly and the food is amazing! The prices are fair!

  Recently, my family and I went to the Sunday brunch. The food was average - nothing too special, however I was absolutely horrified with how messy the restaurant was kept. Not only were there cobwebs all throughout the restaurant, there was dirty silverware on the table, as well as dirty plates that we were expected to use for the buffet. When I say dirty, I fully mean there was still food on them from other guests, to the point where we had to dig through the pile and pray we didn't end up with food poisoning. I would recommend a health inspector takes a visit.

  Probably one of the most under rated patios in the Kawartha's. If you are looking for a comfortable patio experience thats a little bit of a secret I would recommend Chemong Lodge. I eat at Chemong Lodge five or six times a year and I have always enjoyed the food I have ordered. I wouldn't consider Chemong Lodge to be fine dining and I don't think thats the point of the Chemong Lodge experience. Its good honest food, served at reasonable prices in a somewhat rustic but extremely picturesque setting. The owner of Chemong Lodge is frequently at the restaurant over seeing the comfort of his guests and he is completely approachable if you have comments or suggestions. If you haven't tried Chemong Lodge yet you don't know what you are missing.

  I would describe this restaurant as cozy and quaint. We enjoyed a nice family Sunday brunch here. The service was friendly, although some requests were forgotten. The buffet had several breakfast and lunch options, but was not as extensive as buffets at larger restaurants. Many of the tables are next to large windows that overlook the lake. Our family was in a separate room, which was nice so we didn't have to worry about the kids being too noisy. Overall, expect this to be a small town experience -which it does well.
